Energy and Emissions

At WhiteWave, we participate in the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Climate Leaders program to help us conduct on-site energy audits and develop long-term climate change strategies.  But we also know that what we do today matters, which is why we purchase renewable energy credits through Bonneville Environmental Foundation.  Since 2003, our organization as a whole has purchased nearly 375,499 megawatt-hours of wind energy, equivalent to eliminating 276,044 tons of Greenhouse Gas emissions, helping us earn our fifth Green Power Leadership Award from the EPA.
